Stone & Spa has my vote for the best spa experience ever!! I spent a beautiful, nurturing, quiet and unhurried afternoon there with a friend. The woodland setting is peaceful and healing. We floated in the bountifully sized hot pool while gazing at sky and tree tops. Warmed to the bone in the sauna while soaking up the nature the glass front looks out on. Received a top notch warm oil abhyanga & hot stone massage, both competent and loving, Relaxed in the welcoming private lounging room while enjoying tea, art work, and those beautiful woods. Had it been warmer I would have also taken advantage of the large outside "hang out" deck area. I look forward to returning to Stone & Spa every time I'm in the area. If I lived nearby this would be my regular go to for self care/let down time. It is where I would have my birthday celebration, with a few friends. An extraordinary gem of a spa. Ellen

The floating warm pool is a great place to float and relax, even on a cold day. The sauna is fragrant and detoxifying. Shoshanna's spa offers a unique experience not to be found anywhere else in the Chapel Hill area. To have a sauna, a grand sized hot pool, a beautiful deck overlooking the woods and expert massage all in one place is very unique! Stone & Spa is wonderful. Shoshanna is a very skilled massage therapist and a real master at hot stone massage. Hers was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Great place for a girl’s spa day or mother daughter day out. She has a lovely lounge area for relaxing, a hot pool and a sauna; which you can enjoy with your friends while taking turns getting a massage. My friends and I spent a truly wonderful and relaxing day there. I can’t wait to do it again! Ruth
